We are excited to launch the competition opening for the 2025 SAPRO Awards for the Best Recycled Plastic Products. This prestigious award celebrates and elevates progressive steps taken in the plastic recycling industry, through the hard work of recyclers, product developers, plastics converters and brand owners.
Entries are now open for companies or individuals with innovative products that use recycled plastic as part or all of the solution.
Products can shine in any one of the following categories:
- Flexible Packaging Products,
- Rigid Packaging Products,
- Agriculture and related products,
- Household & leisure products,
- Construction & Building sector, and
- Creative or Artisanal Solutions.
Entries are due by 31 July, judging will take place in early August and the Awards ceremony and gala dinner will take place in Joburg towards the end of August (date and venue TBC).
The culminating SAPRO Awards gala dinner will be a night of delights, where industry stakeholders gather to network and celebrate the achievements of their colleagues, teams and partners.
