Entries can be made by recyclers, product developers, plastics converters and brand owners in South Africa.

 

Products can shine in any one of the following categories:

• Agriculture and related products,
• Construction & building sector products,
• Creative or artisanal Solutions,
• Household & leisure products,
• Innovations & research outcomes,
• PCR Demand Champions*, and
• Rigid and Flexible Packaging Products,

 

*PCR Demand Champions, awards a person, team, or project that has moved large new volumes to PCR in the last year. It has either increased production or PCR % inclusion to drive a big volume increase over the last year. It has taken steps to entrench the inclusion of PCR regardless of the volatile prices of virgin feedstock, and has helped to raise the profile of PCR as an attractive material choice.

Note: “Creative or artisanal Solutions” & “Innovations & research outcomes” are standalone categories, while the others all compete for the overall prize of the commercial categories.
