We are very aware that insurance of your premises and operations is proving to be a challenge and as an organization want to take this forward with insurers and FSP’s to try and find a solution for our members. Characterised by high number of incidents and severity fire losses, the recycling industry is undoubtedly a challenging area for insurers and reinsurers. It’s considered such a risky commercial activity that some have even put a question mark over its insurability with some insurers taking the decision to stop writing this type of business.
